At our Virginia Wagyu farm we are committed to sustainable farming, fighting local food insecurity, giving back, and connecting our guests to local agriculture while preserving natural resources for our future generations.
Description
Join us as for the The Fauquier County Farm Tour! Tickets are free, but please RSVP to let us know you'll be joining us.
Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Ovoka Farm forms the western boundary of fertile Piedmont and extends into the breathtaking Shenandoah Valley. Three centuries after its creation, Ovoka remains, at its core, a working cattle farm with an inseparable connection to the land. In 2012, Ovoka Farm started its herd of Full-Blood Japanese Black Wagyu. We crossbreed our Full-Blood Wagyu bulls with our Angus heifers to achieve a 50/50 mix, also referred to as “F1”. Our F1 Wagyu is enjoyed by diners in every venue from the Michelin’s to your dining room.|
Be the first to experience The Eaterie! Catch the debut of our farm-to-fork mobile kitchen, parked onsite at Ovoka! We will have a menu of sandwiches, bowls, and more, featuring Ovoka F1 Wagyu and other locally sourced ingredients! Available for purchase from 11 am to 3pm.
We hope you’ll come visit, enjoy the beautiful scenery and learn a bit about where your beef comes from.
Tours will be at 11:00 am & 1:00 pm, starting at the Main House. Ovoka Farm Wagyu beef will be available for purchase at our farm store, the Beeferie at The O.
